Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Business Development Executive for our Petroleum Product (PFMS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in
managing relationships with clients, generating sales for the business, working to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential and existing clients
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets
Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to align business development efforts with company goals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Prepare sales contracts and proposals, ensuring adherence to established law rules and guidelines.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Prospect for potential new clients and turn it into increased business
Must Have Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of proven experience in selling forecourt automation solutions (e.g., Wayne Fusion, Gilbarco Passport, Tokheim ProGauge) in the Zambia market.
Strong understanding of the Zambia petroleum industry and its regulatory landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Valid Zambia driver’s license.
Plus:
Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems integration with forecourt equipment.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., D360, Gilbarco DOMs).
