Main Duties & Responsibilities

People Leadership & culture

High focus on SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) in all we do
Be a role model and a visible ambassador for our company values and business code of conduct
Make sure your compliance to your mission with tangible goals and KPI’s
Develop business in the region for digital solutions
Acting as a forward operating arm of the Digital Solutions Division, empowered to execute front line decisions on behalf of the Division within their given mandates, enabling sales teams to work and respond to customers more quickly and thoroughly.

Digital – Business Performance & Management

In partnership with regional sales Teams to create an agile digital solutions strategy which meets the evolving needs of the business, our customers and capitalizes on opportunities for needed transformation.
Territory management strategy and target development for all business units within the region, and regional business development planning.
Revenue and profitability targets and performance management plans for CC sales-responsible team members.
OR/OI, ADJ, CGP, ME, MC, CGP & OPR, and other standard business health metrics for their region (by CC, by major portfolio)
Business/market intelligence (market share, competitive comparison, pricing intelligence, offering development) – supported by input from CC sales teams.
Through their team, best-in-class technical product and mining application knowledge and support, acting as sales support and sales enablers for CC sales teams and to our end customers.

Competences, Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mining related industries, with knowledge of software-related business models for mining industry segments
Proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation, mining)
High level of business acumen with an understanding of commercial initiatives, particularly managing a costs and budgets, market validation with experience bringing products to market. SaaS experience is highly preferred
Experience in production and mining industries / environments is an asset
Direct sales or commercial experience in digital solutions is considered an asset
Familiarity with Epiroc’s digital solutions and / or competitor digital solutions is an added advantage
A safety-first and collaboration mentality
Has a growth (vs. fixed) and servant-leader (careful empathetic listener that empowers others) mindset with change management skills and experience applying these skills in matrixed industrial organizations.
High ambition level, persistent, and able to pivot quickly given new data; has a bias to action. Can build credibility quickly with our customers and internal stakeholders, high “say-do ratio”.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical.
