Job description
Breath of Heaven Children’s Ministries (BOHCM) is a registered NGO committed to transforming lives through holistic care, education, and skills development for orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia. Located in Barlastone Park, Lusaka, the Ministry operates a Children’s Village, a primary and secondary school, a medical clinic, a community church, and is near completion of a Vocational Training College (VTC) aimed at delivering quality post-secondary technical education to our children and the surrounding community.
We are inviting applications from qualified and committed Part-Time Lecturer in Bricklaying and Plastering to support the delivery of practical, competency-based training at our VTC Students.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Bricklaying and Plastering in line with the approved vocational syllabus
Plan and deliver engaging theory and hands-on practical lessons
Assess, record, and report on students’ academic and practical progress
Ensure safe use of workshops, tools, and materials
Instill good workmanship, safety standards, and work ethics
Participate in departmental and institutional academic activities as required
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Craft Certificate in Bricklaying and Plastering or higher qualification
Valid teaching qualification or proof of pedagogical training
Registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
Strong practical skills and ability to demonstrate trade competencies
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a committed and practicing Christian
Added Advantage
Previous teaching or industry experience
Experience handling practical vocational training sessions
