Bookkeeper

We are hiring a bookkeeper!

Qualifications include:

1. Educational Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from a recognized institution, such as:

Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA)
The Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies (ZCAS)
A university offering accounting-related programs

Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) O-Level Credits, including Mathematics and English.

2. Professional Qualifications (Optional but Preferred)

ZICA Technician Qualification (Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants)
Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
ACCA Foundations in Accountancy (FIA)
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – Certificate Level

3. Work Experience (Preferred)

At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or Pastel.

4. Key Skills Required

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
Understanding of tax compliance and Zambian financial regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
