China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is seeking experienced professionals for the role of Bitumen Spreader Driver in Shibuyunji, Central, Zambia. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to operate asphalt distributor trucks on vital road construction and maintenance projects. Role Overview: Bitumen Spreader Driver Jobs in Shibuyunji
As a Bitumen Spreader Driver, you will be responsible for the accurate and safe operation of asphalt distributor trucks on highways, urban roads, and pavement engineering sites. Your key duties will include pre-inspecting both the vehicle and spraying system, ensuring the even distribution and correct thickness of hot asphalt or emulsified bitumen, and adjusting spraying width and flow rates in accordance with construction specifications.
You will strictly adhere to road construction drawings and safety protocols, maintain a safe distance from other machinery, and perform essential daily vehicle maintenance and cleaning. Additionally, you will keep detailed working logs and apply basic mechanical troubleshooting skills to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction, specifically in operating asphalt distributor trucks or similar equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety and ability to follow detailed instructions from road construction plans.
- Proficient in safe driving practices and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work primarily outdoors under varying weather conditions.
