BIDDING FOR DRILLING OF BOREHOLES
BIC- Choma Children Development Project (CCDP) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization implementing a project aimed at strengthening livelihood resilience to climate change among women, children, and communities through water resources management, climate smart agriculture, income diversification and disaster risk reduction.
Under its Water Provision program, BIC–CCDP intends to drill eight (8) community boreholes in eight (8) selected communities within Choma District. Below are the specific sites and distance from the CBD.
MBOOLE (Hachibi) 60km
PANGWE (Simalindi) 35kms
MASOPO (Sichipolya) 25kms
SIMUNZELE (Hamasaka) 52kms
SIKALONGO (Sikalongo A) 58kms
KASUKWE (Simakwama) 43kms
SILUKWIYA (Cibbwalo) 65kms
KAILI (Munchali) 46kms
The organization hereby invites qualified borehole drilling companies to bid for drilling (8) boreholes.
The drilling company must be legally registered in accordance with the Zambia Government requirements and must be in position of at least a minimum of a Class B Drilling License.
The Drilling of the boreholes, installation of the India Mark II pumps and completion of civil works should be required to be done within the month of October and mid November 2025.
The interested drilling companies should apply through the completion of the formulated Bid form, which may be collected from the office Manager at BICC-CCDP offices located at plot number ME 17, 1st Street, Choma Town Center.
Sealed bids clearly marked “BID FOR BOREHOLE DRILLING-BIC-CCDP” and must be physically be deposited in the tender box at BICC-CCDP office not later than 20th October 2025 at 12:30 hours.
The bids shall be opened on 20th October 2025 at 14:30 in the recreation room at BICC-CCDP in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
