Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and performance-driven Sales Team Leader to manage and energise a frontline sales team within a busy automotive retail environment. This role is central to driving revenue growth across vehicle parts and accessories, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational discipline across the branch.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Sales Assistants, ensuring daily targets are met across walk-in and counter sales
Drive product knowledge and upselling strategies across vehicle parts, lubricants, batteries, and accessories
Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and disciplinary support where needed
Ensure accurate stock handling, merchandising, and promotional execution on the shop floor
Resolve customer queries and complaints with professionalism and urgency
Collaborate with branch management on pricing, inventory, and supplier coordination
Maintain records of team attendance, performance, and compliance with company policies
Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of sales staff
Car dealership

Qualifications & Experience

Grade 12 certificate; Diploma in Sales, Automotive Technology, or Business Administration preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within automotive retail or parts distribution
Strong understanding of vehicle components and aftermarket products
Proven ability to lead teams and drive sales performance
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
