AutoCAD Draftsman

Job description

To produce accurate technical drawings, layouts, and 3D models using AutoCAD and other CAD software. The Draftsman supports engineering, production, and projects teams by converting concepts and measurements into detailed drawings for fabrication, installation, and maintenance

Roles and responsibilities:

1.Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.

2.Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.

3.Prepare layouts, plans, elevations, and detail drawings.

4. Interpret engineering and architectural specifications.

5. Modify and update drawings based on project requirements.

6. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

7. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams.

8.  Maintain organized drawing records and documentation.

9. Will carry out any other tasks assigned to him/her by the superiors.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Grade12 school certificate.
3. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
