Auto Mechanic X 1

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our range of commercial vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel bearings, Sensors & brake inspections and Repair works on Company and Customer Vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using physical and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts in engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other critical components.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide technical support and guidance.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in vehicle repair techniques.
• Adherence to environmental and safety policies & Procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic, preferably with commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of FAW, Sino, Shackman or Golden Dragon vehicles will be an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications or diplomas in automotive technology or a related field are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license a must.
