Job description
Atlas Workforce is hiring a Health, Safety & Environmental Officer for Lusaka / Mine Operations.
Position: Health, Safety & Environmental Officer
Experience: 2+ years
Location: Lusaka / Mine Operations
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Environmental Officer to oversee and manage safety programs.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Mining Engineering, or an equivalent mining-relevant university qualification.
– Recognized professional membership with relevant Zambian professional bodies such as the Zambia Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (ZIOHS) or Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
– Strong knowledge of safety legislation.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Proficiency in incident reporting and analysis.
