The Assistant Business Development and Administration Officer will play a key role in supporting the company’s business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and assisting with tender submissions. Additionally, the position involves coordinating projects, managing marketing efforts, and ensuring smooth daily office operations. The ideal candidate will maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships while managing documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Marketing: Identify potential clients and new business prospects, assist in preparing and submitting tenders, quotations, and proposals, follow up on bids and client inquiries, support marketing of products and services, maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, and conduct market research to monitor industry trends.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating ongoing projects, monitor timelines and progress, prepare project reports and documentation, ensure accurate filing and record keeping, and facilitate communication among management, clients, and project teams.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage office files, correspondence, and records; prepare official documents such as reports, letters, and invoices; schedule meetings and maintain calendars; assist with procurement and inventory tracking; handle phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally; and ensure smooth daily office operations.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Support maintenance of company compliance documents, assist with statutory and operational report preparation, and safeguard confidentiality of company information and records.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in tender preparation, administration, marketing, or project coordination is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Professional attitude with keen attention to detail.
