Limestone Resources Limited seeks to employ a suitably qualified, experienced and result oriented individual to fill below listed vacancy.

Artisan Rigger(X1) Permanent           

Reports to: Maintenance Foreman

Job Overview:

Application and maintenance of lifting machines and appliances to execute Rigging Tasks/Jobs e.g. daily inspections, weekly, monthly and 52 weekly to avoid loss of production, damage to company property, loss of lives when wrong tools and methods are used to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications;

Grade twelve (12) certificate certified with ECZ.
Craft Certificate in Rigging certified with ZAQA.
Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in the related job

Skills/Abilities;

Receives daily work instruction in mechanical rigging works to be done.
Assess given tasks in order to come up with lifting tools and methods to employ before commencing work to avoid damage to company property, injury or loss of lives thus reducing on downtime of machinery and preserving the health and safety of the employees
Reports the progress and compilation of work assignment to immediate supervisor, fills in work done on work orders in order to account for time and tools/equipment used.
Cleans work place and tools/equipment before and after work is done.  To maintain high standards of cleanness of the surrounding and tools to prevent the frequency of buying new tools and equipment thus cutting costs.
To test lifting equipment and to certify them for domestic use at Limestone Resources plant.  Examines the structure for any defects that can obstruct lifting rated capacities e.g. check for cracks, loose bolts, apply a test Loads etc, to certify for use.
