About the Artisan Plumber Positions Number of Vacancies: 10 Location: Mongu, Zambia Employment Type: Full Time As an Artisan Plumber at WWSC, you will undertake a variety of plumbing tasks essential to maintaining and improving water and sanitation networks. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of services provided to customers across Western Province. Key Responsibilities for Artisan Plumbers in Mongu Conduct physical inspections to detect leaks within water and sanitation networks. Prepare job cards and cost estimates for plumbing tasks, submitting them to supervisors for approval. Use pipe locating instruments to identify and mark pipe installation sites for repairs. Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and water meters using hand and power tools. Perform leak detection surveys and repair works aimed at reducing Non-Revenue Water losses. Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling customer information. Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors to support operational objectives. Qualifications and Candidate Profile Full Grade 12 School Certificate. Crafts Certificate in Plumbing and Pipe Fitting or an equivalent qualification. Knowledge of the local area is an advantage. Familiarity with water supply systems and meter operations is beneficial. Age between 20 and 35 years.
