AC MUNDA AGRIC CHEMICALS ZAMBIA LTD is seeking qualified candidates for multiple area manager jobs in Copperbelt and several other provinces. This temporary position offers a fixed-term contract of six months, focusing on overseeing business operations and driving sales growth across a wide geographical area including Copperbelt, Lusaka, Central, Muchinga, Luapula, North Western, Western, Southern, Northern, and Eastern provinces.

Position Overview

The Area Manager will report directly to the Managing Director within the Operations and Sales department. The role involves managing all aspects of branch performance to ensure sales targets are met, stock levels are maintained, and customer satisfaction is consistently delivered across multiple locations. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with diverse teams to optimize business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities for Area Manager Jobs in Copperbelt

• Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets, identify underperforming branches, and develop corrective plans. Build strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and stakeholders while monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
• Operational Management: Coordinate distribution and availability of agricultural inputs, oversee stock replenishment, ensure proper storage and handling, and manage logistics and deliveries.
• Staff Supervision: Lead branch staff, monitor attendance and productivity, and provide support to meet business objectives.
• Stock Coordination: Ensure timely restock requests, verify delivery documentation, report stock discrepancies, and assist with physical stock counts and cycle checks.
• Financial and Administrative Duties: Monitor sales and cash collections, ensure compliance with financial procedures, prepare regular reports, and assist management in tracking seasonal performance.
• Compliance and Safety: Enforce company policies and agricultural regulations, promote safe handling and storage of products, and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in agricultural sales, agribusiness operations, or a similar area.
• Experience with supervisory roles and electronic voucher FISP is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
