Job Title: Alarm Controller

Location: Lusaka

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and attentive Alarm Controller to join our security monitoring team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring alarm systems, responding to alerts, and coordinating with response teams to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ premises.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor alarm systems in real time.
Verify and assess all incoming alarms and signals.
Dispatch response officers or emergency services when necessary.
Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and authorities.
Perform regular system checks to ensure all equipment is operational.
Follow company procedures and escalation protocols at all times.

Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate
 Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role
Previous experience in a control room or security monitoring role (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with alarm or CCTV software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
