Kwikmart and Fuels Divisions are Recruiting for the following Positions:

  Accounts Assistant
 Accounts Assistant Receivables x2

All positions are based in Ndola, Zambia.

Core Duties

1. Accounts Assistant Receivables x1

a. Maintaining accurate financial records, including journals, invoices and bank reconciliations

b. Assisting in preparing financial statements and management reports

c. handling supplier payments and managing accounts payable/receivable

d. managing petty cash and processing tax returns.

Performing other ad hoc tasks as required by their supervisor.

2.Accounts Assistant x2

·        Processing of financial transactions.

·        Liaising with finance officers concerning stock management, financial records and accounts.

·        Verifying expense reports and querying invoice items from internal and external business finance officers.

·        Reconciling invoices.

·        Communicating with the wider Accounts team and comparing system reports to better manage Accounting processes.

·        Entering invoices into the accounts system.

·        Processing payments.

·        Filing and maintaining supplier records.

·        Checking and verifying invoices.

·        Performing other ad hoc tasks as required by their supervisor.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills

Part qualified – CA Zambia (licentiate), ACCA level 2 or CIMA Level 2 or diploma in accountancy

professional membership with ZICA

Minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience in a busy accounting department

Proficiency in MS excel and accounting soft ware(SAP, Tally, Quickbooks etc)

Excellent analytical and numerical abilities

Good communication skills

Strong attention to details

Team player
