At BDO Zambia, we have a rapidly growing finance department looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our team.

Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:

Enter financial transactions into internal databases Xero.
Preparation of Payment Vouchers.
Filling of all payments.
Filling of all Tax Invoices.
Filling of other important documentation.
Raising of Proformas in Xero.
Issue Tax invoices to customers as needed.
Prepare weekly departmental reports.
Reconciling in accounting system.
Create and file ZRA Returns ( VAT/WHT).
Maintain and file physical financial records.
Participate in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance (ZICA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred)
Proven experience with Xero or similar accounting systems
Solid understanding of VAT and WHT principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and reporting abilities
