Accountant

Plant Agrichem Services Limited a company specialised in Agrochemical supplies and distribution seeks the services of a professional qualified Accountant for quality and efficient financial reporting. The new hire will be actively involved in every step of the accounting process.

Role and responsibilities

Record financial transactions;
Prepare forms and financial documentation
Prepare statements of income statement, statements of cashflows and statement of financial position;
Create budgets and financial plans as needed;
Perform bank reconciliations;
Reconcile general ledger Accounts;
Perform inventory counts and produce reports; and
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Accounting and Finance or Part II ACCA/CIMA;
Membership of ZICA;
Intermediate experience with Pastel/Accpack, Excel, Word and other office 365 tech;
Knowledge of ZRA Smart Invoice System (new system);
Self-motivated, organised and detailed driven;
Strong verbal/written communication skills;
Expert usage of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
