Academic Head of School – Postgraduate Studies

The University of Africa invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position

of Academic Head of School – Postgraduate Studies.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide academic and administrative leadership to the School of Postgraduate Studies

by overseeing postgraduate teaching, research, supervision, curriculum development, quality assurance, programme

accreditation, student success, and compliance with University and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

• A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from a recognised institution.

• At least five (5) years’ university teaching and postgraduate supervision experience.

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in academic leadership or management.

• A proven record of research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

• Experience in curriculum development, programme accreditation, and quality assurance.

All academic and professional qualifications must be validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority

(ZAQA).
