Job description
VVOB Zambia is the Zambian country office of VVOB – Education for Development, an international non-profit organization that supports governments in improving the quality of education. In Zambia, VVOB works in close partnership with the Ministry of General Education and other stakeholders to strengthen teaching and learning, particularly in early grade literacy and numeracy, teacher professional development, and education system strengthening.
VVOB Zambia’s programmes focus on enhancing the capacity of teachers, school leaders, and education officials to deliver inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education. By combining technical expertise with innovative approaches, VVOB aims to improve learning outcomes and support education reforms in alignment with national priorities
Interested vendors/contractors are invited to request the full RFQ document from procurement-zm@vvob.org. The RFQ contains the full technical specifications, scope of work, deliverables, submission requirements, and list of locations.
Tender Submission Requirements – Vendors requesting the RFQ should prepare to submit the following:
Administrative:
Company profile
PACRA registration
Trading licence
Tax clearance
NAPSA compliance
Qualified and certified dealer (must attach relevant certifications)
Capacity to deliver within agreed timelines
Technical:
Detailed technical offer
Past Performance:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Computer Sales, installation and maintenance
At least 2 previous contracts/purchase orders for similar deliveries/supplies
3 reference contacts
Financial:
Detailed, VAT-inclusive quotation in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) covering:
ü Support & Maintenance – Suppliers must provide after-sales support including: Onsite warranty service, Technical support hotline, Replacement policy for defective units within warranty period
ü Delivery
ü Installation & Setup – Pre-installed OS and basic productivity software (MS Office)
ü Installation and Commissioning – Install and connect each system with windows operating system as per minimum specifications provided. Conduct testing to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
