Mansa Sugar Limited invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and hardworking individuals to fill the following position.

1. SENIOR AUTO ELECTRICIAN *2

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems on heavy-duty and light-duty machinery.
Interpret and work with advanced electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Provide technical guidance and support to auto electricians and maintenance staff.
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards when working with electrical systems and heavy equipment.
Participate in risk assessments and implement effective safety measures.
Collaborate with supervisors, mechanical and instrumentation teams, and production personnel to support smooth plant operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Craft in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in industrial electrical maintenance (experience in the sugar industry is an added advantage).
Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).

2. AUTO-ELECTRICIAN*1

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems on heavy-duty and light-duty machinery.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians and maintenance staff.
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards when working with electrical systems and heavy equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Craft in Electrical Engineering or related field.

3. ARTISAN MECHANIC *2

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Oversee and perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and tire rotations.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
Repair or replace major components such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and steering systems.
Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to detect potential faults early and prevent breakdowns.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Craft in Automotive Repair or a related field (required).
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as a mechanic, preferably working with fleet vehicles.
Advanced diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems.
Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) required.

4. MECHANIC *8

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Perform routine and preventive maintenance: oil changes, lubrication, tire rotations, etc.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using advanced tools and techniques.
Repair or replace key components such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and steering systems.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems early.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Craft in Automotive Repair or related fields (required).
3–5 years proven experience as an auto mechanic, preferably with fleet vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems.
Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)

5. WELDER *6

Responsibilities:
Fabrication and welding of metal components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Operating workshop machinery and tools safely

Requirements:

Diploma or Craft in Metal Fabrication or a related field (required).
Minimum 2 years proven experience as a welder
Strong understanding of health & safety practices
Good communication and problem-solving skills
