Chenguang Biotech Zambia Agri-Dev LTD is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Safety Officer.
? ??????? ?? ??? ???
To implement, monitor, and enforce occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure workplace safety, statutory compliance, and effective risk mitigation across company operations.

✅ Implement and monitor occupational health and safety policies and procedures
✅ Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments
✅ Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
✅ Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
✅ Monitor compliance with safety rules and statutory requirements

✅ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
✅ HSE certification is an added advantage
✅ 1–2 years’ experience in HSE role
✅ Knowledge of occupational health, safety & environmental legislation
✅ Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation & safety auditing
✅ Must be a member of ZOASH/EIZ
✅ Must be a resident of Maamba, Monze, Mazabuka, or Livingstone

✅ High level of professional integrity and accountability
✅ Detail-oriented with a strong focus on workplace safety
✅ Proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation
✅ Reliable with a commitment to regulatory compliance

✅ Incident investigation and safety auditing skills
✅ Risk assessment and workplace inspection capabilities
✅ Strong understanding of HSE legislation and compliance
✅ Effective communication and interpersonal skills
