Job description
Key areas of responsibility will include the following:
Overseeing, managing Zamseed inventory levels and collaborates with other departments to meet inventory needs and contribute to optimizing stock levels.
Monitor stock movement and conduct regular physical stock counts to reconcile discrepancies.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Use inventory management software to record, update, track and manage inventory.
Ensuring that the materials delivered match the invoices.
Keeping all records on store items up to date and reporting any variances
Keep track of all items that are stolen, lost, dysfunctional (irreparably broken), or otherwise no longer useful.
Ensuring that all seed varieties are issued before expiry.
Generate inventory reports and provide insights for decision-making.
Any other assigned duties
Required Experience :
Must have successfully completed ACCA/ZICA/CIMA Level 3 or should have an Accounting Degree.
Possessing three years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in SAGE 300 is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
