We are committed to innovation, sustainable growth, and excellence in ceramic production. As we continue to expand, we seek a dynamic and knowledgeable Human Resource Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Specialist will be responsible for managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with Zambian labour laws, and supporting a positive work environment. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of labour legislation, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and have the ability to handle sensitive and complex employee relations issues with discretion and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with Zambian labour laws, employment standards, and company policies.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation programs.
Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
Support training and development programs in line with organizational goals.
Maintain up-to-date HR records and ensure data confidentiality.
Advise management on HR best practices and legal requirements.
Prepare reports related to HR metrics, compliance, and workforce planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
Solid understanding of Zambian labour laws and statutory requirements.
Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is an added advantage.
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
