Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographer
Location: Lusaka
Employment Type: Full time
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment in the Cath Lab.
Assist physicians during Cardiac Catheterization Procedures, ensuring accurate imaging.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Experience in cardiac imaging and interventional procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards.
Registered with HPCZ and have current practicing license
