Our client, Every Orphan’s Hope (E.O.H), is seeking to recruit highly qualified and experienced individuals to join its After School Academy as part of its commitment to providing quality education to orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia. The successful candidates will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal growth of learners while supporting E.O.H’s mission.

Secondary School Teacher – Science (Physics and Chemistry, Biology) x1
Secondary School Teacher – Mathematics x1
Secondary School Teacher – English x1

About Every Orphan’s Hope (E.O.H)

Every Orphan’s Hope is a faith-based, non-profit organization answering God’s call to care for the vulnerable. The organization creates loving, stable families for orphaned children in Zambia and provides nurturing care, education, and a foundation for a brighter future.

1. Secondary School Teacher – Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to secondary-level students.
Prepare and maintain laboratory experiments while ensuring safety procedures are followed.
Develop lesson plans in line with the Zambian national curriculum.
Assess students’ academic progress and provide regular feedback.
Support the moral and spiritual development of learners in line with E.O.H’s Christian values.
Participate in school-wide events and extracurricular science programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a major in Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology).
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at secondary school level.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Experience working in a nonprofit or faith-based setting will be an advantage.

2. Secondary School Teacher – Mathematics

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics to secondary-level students using innovative and learner-centered methods.
Prepare lesson plans, quizzes, and tests that are aligned with national education standards.
Offer academic support and mentorship to learners who require additional assistance.
Monitor and evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records.
Contribute to the academic planning and continuous improvement of the teaching curriculum.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics.
At least 3 years of proven teaching experience in a secondary school.
Ability to break down complex mathematical concepts into simple learning components.

Values-driven and committed to holistic child development.

3. Secondary School Teacher – English

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language and Literature to secondary students.
Design lessons that foster reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Encourage creative writing and critical analysis through interactive activities.
Provide constructive feedback and mentor students to achieve academic success.
Promote the use of English in both academic and extracurricular settings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a major in English Language or Literature.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and child-focused education.How to Apply
