Job description
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to transport staff, children, and/or materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, good with children, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving staff to and from work, appointments, or events, ensuring the safety of all passengers.
Transporting children to and from school, medical appointments, or activities and ensuring their safety
Loading and unloading materials, goods, and equipment.
Preparing and maintaining vehicle records.
Reporting any maintenance needs or issues.
Ensuring that all passengers are properly secured and that the vehicle is safe for travel.
Following emergency procedures and organization policies.
Managing fuel reconciliation, vehicle log books, and potentially assisting with payments or bank transactions.
Following traffic laws and organizational policies, including those related to child safety and transportation.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
Clean driving record
Experience in driving in urban and/or rural environments
Excellent communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions and directions
