Hydraulic Technician

Job Description:

Capable of measuring seals and assembly & disassembly of cylinders.
Cylinder assessment for material replacement.
Seal review and seal recommendation based on findings.
Must be able to sketch, gland, piston & cylinder designs for manufacturing drawings to be made.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of hydraulic equipment.
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
Conduct pressure testing and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with the workshop supervisor and team to meet project requirements.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems as needed.

Qualifications:

Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hydraulic issues efficiently.
Proficient in reading hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Relevant technical certifications or qualifications preferred.
