Accountant

Vaimar Farms Limited is hiring a full-time Accountant to support our growing agricultural operations in Lusaka. We’re looking for someone experienced, detail-oriented, and passionate about financial accuracy and transparency.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage daily financial records and reporting
Prepare monthly budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure tax and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with farm operations to monitor costs and improve efficiency

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage)
Experience working in a farm or poultry environment is a strong advantage
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
