JOB OPPORTUNITY: TEACHING POSITIONS AT MATILDAH LEGACY TRUST

Matildah Legacy Trust School, a growing international school in Zambia, is seeking passionate and qualified teachers to join our dynamic team. We are currently recruiting experienced and newly qualified educators for our Early Years, Lower Primary, and Upper Primary sections.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for dedicated teachers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young learners. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and be enthusiastic about engaging students through interactive, hands-on learning.

Preferred Qualities and Experience:

International teaching experience
Passionate, energetic, and student-centered teaching style
Strong ICT skills, with experience using Google Classroom or other Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs)
Practical, investigative teaching approach
Collaborative and team-oriented
Experience with Accelerated Reader (AR) programs
Strong foundation in teaching phonics
Familiarity with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum is an added advantage

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field
A recognised teaching qualification
Suitable for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers

Current Opportunities:

Due to our recent expansion from a Kindergarten and Nursery into a full primary school (Nursery, Day Care, Years 1–7), we are tentatively accepting applications for the following roles:
Lower Primary Mathematics and Science Teachers
Nursery Teachers with experience or strong interest in working with children aged 9–13

The ability to teach additional subjects will be considered an asset.
