Job description

Position Overview:
The Waiter will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, courteous, and professional service. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
Present menus, explain specials, and answer guest questions about food and beverages
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar
Serve meals and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining high service standardsEnsure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout the service
Handle guest complaints or requests with poise and professionalism
Process bills and handle payment transactions accurately
Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine selections, and daily specials

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a waiter in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, well-groomed, and professional demeanor
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic knowledge of food and wine service etiquette
Team player with a positive attitude
