Job description

Position Overview:

The Barman will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages while delivering exceptional service in a refined and elegant environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of mixology, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes
Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests at the bar
Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed
Ensure all beverages are served responsibly and in line with legal and resort guidelines
Engage with guests, offer drink recommendations, and provide knowledgeable service
Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Support bar opening and closing procedures
Collaborate with restaurant and service staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a bartender or barman in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and courteous attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Certification in bartending or mixology is an added advantage
Responsible and trustworthy with handling of cash and alcohol
