Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region.  It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stock feed and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

SECURITY OFFICERS – HUNTLEY FARM (03)

The required skills for the role:

Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to Guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Checking parcels, pockets, and suspicious items
Patrolling industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gate.                          Patrolling properties to maintain safety.
Escorting or driving motoring vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide  Personal protection.
Operating detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences.
Warning persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
Answering alarms and investigate disturbances. Investigate illegal or suspicious activities, respond to emergencies to provide assistance to personnel.
 Counting and verifying goods during dispatch when required to do so.
Calling Police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorised persons and request emergence personnel.
Ensuring the trucks with goods entering the premises are properly covered with tarpaulin and that the tarpaulin is not damaged or with holes.

The Required Qualifications are:

Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
Security training course.
3 years’ work experience in a similar or related security management field.
