Job Opportunities – Underground Mining Operations (Copperbelt, Zambia)
Our client, a leading mining contractor in an underground mine on the Copperbelt—Zambia, has several opportunities for experienced and qualified Zambian nationals and residence permit holders for its underground operations.
SCHEDULE A – MINING / UNDERGROUND MINE RELATED POSITIONS
Position Qualifications Experience Required
Planning Head Mining Engineering 10+ years underground experience
HER Maintenance Technician B Tech/Diploma in HER 5+ years underground experience
TLB Operators Any 5+ years underground mine experience
Planning Engineer (Maintenance) Maintenance Engineering 3+ years underground mine experience
Safety Head Diploma in Safety 2+ years (Junior level; Female applicants encouraged)
Compactor Operators Any 5+ years underground mine experience
Grader Operators Any 5 years underground mine experience
Electrical & Mechanical Supervisor B-Tech/Diploma in Mining 4 years underground mine experience
Mechanics / Machinist / Fitter / Welder / Auto Electrician / AC Mechanics Diploma or Degree 5+ years underground mine experience
Hose Crimping Specialists / Loader, Truck, TLB Operators Any 5+ years underground mine experience
Crusher Operator Any 5+ years underground mine experience
LHD Operators Any 8–10 years underground LHD operator experience
LPDT Operators Any 8–10 years underground LHD operator experience
PC Operators Any 8–10 years underground LHD operator experience
SL Operators Any 8–10 years underground LHD operator experience
