Job description

Responsibilities: To teach, research, supervise master and doctoral students, and carry out other academic-related tasks.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree in humanities or sciences with a merit from a reputable University.
Master’s degree in any field from a reputable University,
An earned PhD in any field from a reputable University
Proof of research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the business field is an added advantage;
Possess at least six (6) years of teaching, research, and postgraduate student supervising experience in higher education or research institute post PhD qualification.

Key qualities and skills:

Self-motivated, resourceful, team player, and intellectually strong
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Must be articulate and have strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to assess research proposals and theses of various fields of study offered to students up to PhD level of study.
Must show evidence of publishing in peer-reviewed papers on the subject of specialization.
Ability to engage students through interactive and engaging activities and discussions
Ability to utilize technology necessary for teaching including but not limited to: Office 365, Teams, Moodle, library, and other online resources.
Ability to produce and update modules, and other teaching materials for postgraduate students.
Ability to uphold the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
