Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting pre-shift vehicle checks and ensuring efficient vehicle functionality.
Driving staff, visitors to various destinations.
Provide logistical support for movement of raw material and products to various destinations.
Ensure vehicles are always clean through scheduled cleaning of the vehicle fleet.
Timely reporting of faults, defects and accidents in line with vehicle policy provisions.
Ensure the safety and security of assigned vehicles.
Loading and offloading material and products.
Participate in sales and marketing initiatives which include embarking on van sales routes.
Meet sales targets by actively promoting and selling company products.
Ensure accurate and timely record keeping.
Qualifications/ Competencies
Grade 12 School certificate.
A flare for sales field work would be an added advantage.
A clean Driver’s license with a minimum of at least two years driving in a formal organizational setup.
Experience in driving manual transmission vehicles.
