Job Overview:
As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing visual problems. Your expertise will help patients achieve optimal eye health and visual acuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough eye examinations and assess visual acuity.
Diagnose and manage eye conditions and diseases.
Prescribe corrective lenses and develop treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow up on treatment progress.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists for referrals when necessary.
Stay updated on advancements in optometry and best practices.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
Valid practicing license as an optometrist in Zambia.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometric procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
