Job description
Sinohydro Zambia Limited, a leading international construction company with a strong presence in infrastructure development, is seeking a Skilled Road Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and review road infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
Utilize advanced road design software (such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, etc.) for project modeling and planning.
Prepare technical documentation including drawings, design reports, and specifications.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
Perform site visits and assessments to gather data and provide design input.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in road design.
Proficiency in road design software (e.g., Civil 3D, AutoCAD, etc.).
Strong understanding of geometric design, drainage systems, and pavement materials.
Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
Registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or eligible to register.
