Revenue Assurance Analyst

Job description

Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for supporting the reporting manager in identifying and recovering potential revenue lost due to leakage, fraud billing, and any other issues. The Revenue Assurance Analyst is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all revenue streams. Additional responsibilities include conducting analysis, mapping, development, monitoring of revenue and fraud related controls. The position is demanding and requires an individual with high energy, who has a relentless drive and desire to succeed in this post.

Job Requirements;

Support the implementation of the Liquid Group Revenue Assurance
Management Operational Plan
Ensuring the implementation of the Liquid Fraud Monitoring Operational Plan
Facilitate the design and configuration of revenue related controls across the business
Oversees the effective execution of all operational controls and processes to detect, correct and prevent loss of revenue
Implement and maintains control and reporting system/process to highlight issue of revenue/cost and opportunity costs leakages
Fraud Management and Prevention Coordinate and manage cases of fraud investigations
Periodically reports RA performance on all key focus areas
Perform margin analysis on accounts
Research customer charges and ensure they are applied correctly
Audit new Company products and report on findings
Ensure service charges are updated to bill correctly prior to bill run
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and process improvement skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERPs and Excel
Attention to detail, accuracy and time management to meet deadlines

Formal Qualifications Required

Degree Accountancy, Finance or Business/ ACCA/ CIMA/ ZICA or equivalent
CISA/CISM qualification
3-4 Years’ Experience in Audit or Revenue Assurance
Business Systems Analysis Qualification
Background in the field of Telecommunication Revenue Assurance
Revenue Assurance Practitioners Certification Desirable
Experience and knowledge on SQL, script writing, DB knowledge/ data warehousing
