About the role:

We are looking for skilled Sewing Machine Operators (35).  The selected operators will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines. The selected Operators will attend a short course on operation and maintenance of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operation of the sewing machine
Inspect sewn materials to ensure that seams meet the specifications and make adjustments if needed.
Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines.
Identify and resolve any issues related to sewing machines or the sewing process.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating sewing machines and handling materials.
Maintain accurate records of sewing activities, including machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

Experience in operating industrial sewing machines, preferably in leather or clothing manufacturing.
Strong understanding of sewing techniques, sewing machine operation, and material properties (especially leather).
Technical training in sewing or a related field is preferred.
