Job Opportunity: Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to support our finance team at [Client’s Company Name]. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong numerical skills, a passion for finance, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring everything from ledgers to bank statements is accurately managed.

Preparing monthly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Supporting tax filings and ensuring we stay compliant with Zambian tax regulations.

Helping with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Reconciliation of accounts and supporting internal and external audits.

Monitoring cash flow and managing accounts payable/receivable to keep the business running smoothly.

Providing insightful financial analysis to guide business decisions.

Collaborating with different departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

Requirements:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA certification is a plus).

At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

Strong knowledge of Zambian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
A proactive, team-oriented mind-set.

Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

High ethical standards and a passion for maintaining financial integrity.
