Job description
Abba’s Heart Zambia
Positions: 1 Female Counselor and 1 Male Counselor
Abba’s Heart Zambia is seeking mature Christians with an education in counseling. Applicants will be counseling children and young people who have spent time on the streets of Kitwe and have experienced trauma at home and in town.
Potential trauma can involve physical abuse, sexual abuse and drug abuse. We will train in AHZ counseling models and system, but must have had previous counseling training. Will also be doing mental health assessments and could even be involved in counseling the child’s family upon reunification. The AHZ counseling modality will prioritize Biblical principles and the gospel message. Strong believers in Christ need only apply. Driving License is beneficial.
