The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse stock, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Accurately record stock movements and initiate restocking as needed.
Conduct monthly and quarterly stock checks and prepare inventory reports.
Implement and enhance internal inventory controls, including monitoring minimum and maximum stock levels.
Perform spot checks and stock audits, investigating discrepancies.
Ensure the timely supply of stock to various business units.
Prepare and maintain essential inventory documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Delivery Notes (DN), and Purchase Requisitions (PR).
Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, ensuring alignment with delivery notes.
Apply FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) storage methods.
Oversee warehouse waste management and damaged product claims.
Maintain accurate system entries for inventory received, issued, or transferred.
Supervise warehouse team members and enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in stores management or inventory control.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in warehouse operations.
