Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Events Specialist with a strong marketing background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating events that align with our marketing strategy which include promoting and managing accommodation facilities, restaurant services, and conference facilities. Additionally, the Events Specialist will oversee staff within these sections to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote accommodation, restaurant, and conference facilities.
Use various promotional activities, including digital marketing, advertising campaigns, and networking events, to increase client engagement.
Maintain a strong online presence through social media, website updates, and online booking platforms.
Build relationships with corporate clients, government institutions, and other organizations to secure bookings and partnerships.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve services and address concerns promptly.
Oversee the planning and execution of events hosted at ISTT’s conference and accommodation facilities.
Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure seamless event execution.
Supervise staff working in the accommodation, restaurant, and conference facilities to ensure efficient service delivery.
Monitor daily operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality.
Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Event/Hospitality Management or a related field.
Proven experience in event planning, marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field (3-5 years).
Good understanding of digital marketing and how it integrates with event marketing.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:

Occasional evening and weekend work for event execution may be necessary.
