The Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART) is a Public-Private Sector Partnership Research Institution promoting sustainable agriculture through Adaptive and Applied Research. GART wishes to invite applications for the following vacant Position:

Technology Dissemination Technician.

Location: GART Research Farm  Chisamba

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create communication assets such as brochures, content for in-person events and online platforms.
Lead and Implement technology dissemination demonstration trials.
Support GART teams in media content creation, external communication and graphic design.

Qualifications and Experience:

Should have an agriculture background
 Diploma in Journalism, Communication, Agribusiness Management, Marketing or related field.
Full Grade 12 certificate
Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience.
Must possess excellent verbal, written, editorial and interpersonal skills.
Experience with social media content creation in agricultural, environmental and climate change related themes.
Ability to work with social media platforms such as website, twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
Experience in utilizing a wide range of software such as MS office, Canva etc.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
