Job overview

We are looking for a talented and creative videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, capturing, and editing compelling studio-quality photographs and videos. This role involves working both on and off-site, collaborating with team members, and ensuring a cohesive visual aesthetic across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Capture quality studio photographs and videos that align with brand and marketing goals.
2. Visit various locations to advise on the best angles, positions, and lighting for photos and videos.
3. Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing.
4. Work closely with the marketing team to translate ideas into engaging short and micro-form video content.
5. Edit videos by adding music, dialogues, subtitles, graphics, and effects to ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
6. Create rough and final video cuts that effectively tell a story and engage the target audience.
7. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and quality.
8. Ensure a cohesive visual aesthetic for videos and photos across social media and digital platforms.
9. Maintain and ensure all video and photography equipment is present, functional, and ready for use.
10. Design and create compelling thumbnails for YouTube videos to maximize engagement.
11. Upload videos and shorts to the YouTube channel

Qualifications & Skills:

a) Proven experience as a Videographer, Video Editor, or similar role.
b) Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
c) Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and camera techniques.
d) Experience in capturing and editing micro and short-form video content for social media.
e) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
f) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
g) Familiarity with project management tools like Asana is a plus.
h) Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
