Job description

Daily Nation Newspaper, the people’s most serious, balanced and informed paper, invites applications from suitably qualified, energetic, innovative and self motivated   Zambians for Ten (10) positions of Marketing Executives. These positions are available in Lusaka, Ndola and Kitwe on very attractive commission rates.

Responsibilities

To attract advertising and ensure adverts are paid for according to agreed terms
To grow the customer base and business on a consistent basis
Develop innovative and creative ideas for increasing advertising revenue
Report daily/weekly and monthly marketing activities
Assist with debt collection
Assist with customer account reconciliation.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements

Full Grade 12 certificate
Minimum of a Certificate in Sales, Marketing & Advertising or its equivalent
Membership to a relevant professional body
Solid computer skills
Experience in a similar role in media advertising will be an advantage.
Ability to work with targets and tight deadlines
Ability to understand and meet clients’ advertising needs
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and professionals
Accuracy and attention to details
Excellent communication and people skills
