PAID INTERNSHIP VACANCY FOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) TEACHER

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced ICT Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science and Computer Studies to students in Secondary School. If you are passionate about teaching and learning, and have a strong background in Computer Science, we encourage you to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Teach Computer Science to students in Secondary (Form 1 to A Level)
– Teach Computer Studies to students in Secondary (Form 1 to Form 4)
– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives
– Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
– Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Education, or a related field
– Teaching certification or qualification (Teaching Council of Zambia)
– Strong knowledge of computer programming languages (e.g., Python, Java etc.)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
