Metallurgical Accounting Clerk

JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for reporting and accounting of all Production inputs and output.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Extraction of data from crusher, grinding, Flotation, Services, Tailings and Filtration log sheets for accurate entry into the daily, receipts and dispatch reports.
2. Physical stock counting of all the reagents being used in the plant.
3. Ensuring all composites and dispatched assays are received on time from the lab and updated in daily, receipts and dispatch report.
4. Ensure that production targets are achieved in your area of jurisdiction during respective shift.
5. Minimize wastage of materials in order to lower overall plant
costs.
6. Prepare Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation sheets for Dispatched trucks receiver’s weights and assays.
7. Liaise with the shift supervisors on all the data not included on the log sheets which will be required in daily morning meetings/corrections.
8. Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses.
9. Perform any other duties assigned by the Accounting Metallurgist.

Education:
Grade 12 Full Certificate
Basic computers’ certificate with proficiency in Excel

Training Requirement:
­ All round on the job development in Process plant operations.

Skills/Abilities:
­ Able to interpret recorded readings
­ Ability to communicate information correctly

Work Experience:

At least 2 years in a similar capacity
