Job Description
Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Senior Social Development Specialist to join our team for upcoming Project Implementation Consultant for the Great North Road (T2) Upgrade project in Zambia, funded by EIB.
The overall objective of the Project is to improve the availability, quality, safety and resilience to climate change on the concerned road section, as well as providing safe conditions for traffic combinations between motorized vehicles, un-motorized vehicles and pedestrians.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field.
A post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum experience of 10 years of relevant experience in social development, 3 of which in sub-Saharan Africa.
Minimum experience of 5 years related to linear infrastructure projects, preferably in the road sector.
Experience with IFIs guidelines/policies on involuntary resettlement, particularly on economic displacement.
Should be fluent in written and spoken English and be fully computer literate.
